In fact, you should be spending a lot of time figuring out what the best way is to promote your content—I try to live by the 80/20 rule. I spend 80% of my time distributing my content, or figuring out the best way to promote it, and only 20% on the actual writing. Obviously, the quality of the writing is important, but it doesn’t matter how good it is if you aren’t spending the time to get it out there.

Of course, implementing this isn't easy. You need to first develop your stories, then decide on how you're going to convey those stories and at what drip-rate. For example, your first email or two might go out on the day they first signup, then one email per day might go out afterwards. How much of that will be story-based and how much will be pitches?

If you really want to work and travel the most important thing right now is to TAKE ACTION and start to work for that goal. If you take one step at a time and always keep in mind that your ultimate goal should be to not just become a digital nomad but create a 100% location independent business so you can return home whenever you want, your going to have the time of your life.
